 OK team. So where did you buy your last roll of paper towels or toilet paper??- So here we are thinking we are doing everything right working the business, operating as part of the team.  Are we really???-Sat with Deanna as well today--she (as well as I DID) bought our paper towels from BJ's--we were paying almost $20 a package. The same item is available at Walmart-a partner store for 14.97 !!!!  We need to understand the real business concept of Market America-- Here we have the corporate office negotiating and fighting for us to get these stores to increase IBV or to get additional stores as partners and instead of supporting the efforts of our corporate team we shop in the store instead of online. Many distributors will complain about the IBV percentages, or sometimes having to go through an extra click, etc etc--.  Understand the concept--if we shop through our portal it reinforces and shows appreciation to the corporate leaders. IBV will increase! additional stores will jump on board--and oh yeah- we can all save money. Don't get me wrong--I am just as guilty no--I was just as guilty--I went through my house and started a quick list of what I was already buying from Walmart (in store!!) and also the identical items I was buying elsewhere- that were available (cheaper) at Walmart--I now buy  bottled water, cereal, dogfood, ovaltine,ketchup, mustard, tomato sauce, alfredo sauce, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins,  paper plates, from Walmart through my portal---Also all orders over $50 get free shipping. Deanna commented about the gas money she will be saving.  I looked in my back office and saw how few of us are shopping through our portal--I almost feel like I owe corporate an apology--but I also know from today forward I will work it the way we are suppose to be working it and I will make sure all new distributors get up and going the right way. I never even discussed what happens to everyone's IBV when we start shopping through our portal.
