You've heard it a thousand times but until it sinks in you're running on a treadmill going no place fast.
If you are serious about this business and you really want financial independence then you need to get folks to the big events - that's the World Conference in Miami in February and the International Convention in August.
You can't get folks there if you don't have tickets. Why don't you have tickets? It's because you don't believe that you can get anybody there and if you buy extra tickets you'll end up getting stuck with them and be out a bunch of cash. An attitude like that shows a total lack of self-confidence. If you don't have confidence in yourself or the business how can you expect your prospects to have confidence in you or the business. Think about that for a minute.
I and/or others will help you move the tickets so that's not an issue. The issue is are you serious or just kidding around when you say you want to be successful. Even on your own, without help - you can succeed if you are willing to fail your way to success. We've all heard about Thomas Edison failing 1000 times until he developed the light bulb. He never looked at those events as failures but as learning experiences. Every action you take is a learning experience. That's what is really cool about this business. You only get better. The more you play, the better you get.
My third year in the business my income jumped from $36,000 every four weeks to $78,000 every four weeks in six weeks because I got a ton of people to the convention. I took out a second mortgage on my house and bought $100,000 worth of tickets. I backed myself into a corner. Did I sell them all? I can't remember but I doubt it but who cares? When my heart pooped out shortly after that I was set for life. I don't suggest that you do that but you need a couple of extra tickets. I guarantee you that no matter how many folks you get to attend, after you get there and see the power of the event you'll wish it was more.
This past August I got two incredible ladies, both prospects, to attend the International Convention. They both brought their husbands which is the way to do it. They were smart enough to spend the money up front to see whether the opportunity was for them. They were willing to invest a couple of hundred bucks to investigate an opportunity that could change their lives. They are both in and out of the starting gate. It was the Convention that did it. There is no doubt in my mind that they will change their own lives and the lives of countless others. The longer they are in the more they will love it. It all statred with a ticket.
What is the difference between them and you? It's heart - that's it and a goal, a dream and the desire to pursue it.
As in all things, your success is commensurate with your commitment. To maximize your success commit beyond yourself.
It's great if you attend but you have retarded your success for six months until the next big event because it is proven that you will accomplish more in one weekend than you will in six months as you hook up your guests and prospects with other MA distributors that you meet at the event as you expand your network.
This company is going to go from small to big overnight. Don't miss it. Now is the time to lay your foundation.
